Chilli Chocolate Rum Mousse

Chilli Chocolate Rum Mousse

Ingredients (serves four)

  • 60g chilli chocolate (can use 70% dark chocolate & small pinch of chilli either)
  • 75ml full fat milk
  • ½ tsp of salt
  • 50 ml of rum (optional)
  • 40g sugar
  • 200ml double or whipping cream
  • 3 scoops Nutilis Powder
  • Method

      1. Stir chocolate, milk, and salt in heavy medium saucepan over medium heat until chocolate melts.
      2. Add sugar and stir constantly until all dissolved into the chocolate (this takes about 2 minutes).
      3. Add rum to the chocolate mixture and stir until smooth.
      4. Transfer mixture to large bowl and cool to room temperature.
      5. Using electric mixer, beat cream and Nutilis Powder in large bowl until the cream peaks.
      6. Fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture.
      7. Divide chocolate mixture among 2/3 glasses.
      8. Let the Chilli mousse set for at least 3 hours in the fridge
      9. Then serve and enjoy!
